We’re proud to present another opportunity for young oboe reed makers to hone their craft in a workshop at Valley View Music. We will provide a tied reed blank to practice scraping on, as well as loaner tools, but please bring your own tools if you have them. The goal of the workshop is to leave with a functioning reed that you’ve scraped yourself. 

Available days are Saturday, October 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 and Sunday, November 24th from 1:00 to4:00. The same material will be covered in both classes, but students are more than welcome to attend both if they’d like a reinforcement of the material.

The three-hour class will cost $80. There will be a brief break in the middle with snacks and drinks. We will also have some deals on reed making tools and supplies as well as $20 Professional NMC Reeds.
